Love & Legacy Wedding Giving

Love Cornwall - Love Nature - Love Each Other

Make your wedding a gift for Cornwall’s wildlife

If you’re getting married in Cornwall - or bringing your guests here for a coastline-and-countryside celebration - you can turn wedding gifting into something that lasts.

Support Kernow Conservation and help restore native wildlife and habitats across Cornwall in a way that feels meaningful, simple, and genuinely impactful.

What is Love & Legacy Wedding giving?

More couples are choosing charitable donations instead of - or alongside - traditional wedding gifts and favours.

With Kernow Conservation, your wedding giving can:

  • Support practical conservation action in Cornwall

  • Help bring back native species

  • Give your guests something they can feel proud of

Choose where your wedding gifts go

We keep this simple and transparent - you choose what feels right.

Option 1 - Support a specific project

Pick one of our active projects and direct your wedding donations there. This is ideal if you already have a favourite species or cause.

Current projects include:

  • Water vole recovery and habitat work

  • Osprey nesting platforms and monitoring

  • Beaver evidence gathering and community engagement

  • Pine marten den box installation and monitoring

Option 2 - Support Kernow Conservation’s core work

Core costs keep conservation moving - including staff time, travel, equipment upkeep, volunteer coordination, permissions, landowner liaison, insurance, and reporting.

If you want your wedding giving to have the widest impact across our work, core support is the most flexible - and often the most helpful - option.

How it works

We can help you create a simple giving page for your wedding so guests can donate easily and you can see a running total.

You’ll receive:

  • a shareable link for invitations or a wedding website

  • an optional QR code for table cards or signage

What your gifts can do

Conservation is built on lots of practical steps - and wedding giving is perfect for that.

Examples of what donations can support:

  • £10 - £25 - Monitoring, field supplies, volunteer kit

  • £25 - £75 - Habitat tools, survey materials, travel to sites

  • £75 - £150 - Small equipment such as SD cards, batteries, signage, small kit upgrades

  • £150 - £300 - Targeted monitoring such as eDNA sampling and analysis contributions

  • £300+ - Equipment or direct delivery costs for specific project work

If you’re considering a larger gift, please get in touch and we can talk through what would be most useful and how to recognise it appropriately.
